- At least 3 GCE O'levels (Grades A, B, C) or CXC General (Grades I, II,III) from 1998, passes inclusive of English and Mathematics
- Height 5'6" - 6'2"
- Weight consistent with height

- A Police Certificate of good character and 3 character references
- Previous Security experience, a valid driving permit, a Precept Firearm, Users Employee Certificate (FUEC) and training in first-aid would be considered assets

The successful applicants will perform duties in conformity with the Port Authority Act 51:01, The Supplemental Police Act 15:20 and the Shipping Regulations 2004. The applicant shall secure the Authority's property and Customs Cargo against fire, malicious damage and theft as well as assisting generally in maintaining law and order.
Selected applicants will be required to successfully complete a six-week training programme in Port Security, obtain a Precept and the required to undergo in Drug Test. |
